Rob Ochs is our dedicated early bird coach. Three times a week, he leads a group of committed members who show up at 5:30 am for their workout sessions. While instructing our Strength & Conditioning Class, Rob infuses his passion for CrossFit-style workouts into every session.
With certifications in CrossFit Weightlifting and CrossFit Gymnastics, as well as holding a Level 1 certificate, Rob brings a wealth of expertise to his coaching. He enjoys teaching and prioritizes the fundamentals for both novice and seasoned athletes. Rob consistently invests time in working with members on mastering new movements, often recording their techniques to provide precise feedback for improvement.
While coaching, Rob dedicates himself to capturing the essence of each class through videos, showcasing the day's achievements and sharing them on our social media platforms.
Rob's commitment extends beyond coaching hours, evident in his dedication to his early morning workouts. While the 5:30 am members are just arriving, Rob is already wrapping up his own session, setting the pace for the day.
Outside the gym, Rob resides in Brigantine with his wife Betsey and their two children, Charlie and Julia. When he's not coaching or working out, Rob serves as a branch manager at the Federal Aviation Administration Fire Safety Branch, and as an adjunct physics and engineering professor at Ocean County College in the evenings.
